What is photo retouching?
Retouching is everything after the cutout: dust, threads, dents, skin, stray hair, label warp, and the small lies that make a catalog feel expensive. We work frequency-separated and keep texture.
Why it matters
A raw studio file is never the file you publish. The question is how far you push it — we default to 'believable,' not plastic.
How we break it down
- Product retouch. Dust, glue, scratches, warped labels, and symmetry.
- Beauty / portrait. Skin, flyaways, catchlights — natural commercial grade.
- Campaign. Compositing, sky, and cleanup for lookbooks.
