What is background removal?
Background removal isolates the subject and replaces the scene with white, transparency, or a specified color. For hard edges we clip; for hair, fur, and tulle we mask.
Why it matters
Amazon, Shopify, and most marketplaces require a pure white or consistent studio ground. Doing it in-camera is expensive. Doing it well in post is our job.
How we break it down
- Product on white. RGB 255 white with a controlled natural or drop shadow.
- Transparent PNG. For overlays, configurators, and app commerce.
- Person cutout. Hair-aware extraction for lookbooks and team pages.
